Welcome to Farrington Gurney Church of England Primary School

At Farrington Gurney C of E Primary School, we live by our vision that we are:

'A place where all can flourish, find fulfilment and live life in all its fullness'

There is a strong Christian ethos within the school, in which we encourage pupils and adults to have a caring and considerate attitude towards one another. We recognise and value the uniqueness of every child and encourage them to develop their independence and confidence.

Our school has served Farrington Gurney and the surrounding community for 160 years, consistently producing high standards of education. Our supportive and intimate environment allows children of all ages and abilities to achieve their best within a safe, secure and creative environment.

Dan Turull is our Executive Headteacher, working alongside Catrin Geeson, our Head of School, and a very strong and committed team of teachers and support staff.

In April 2017 the school became an academy as part of the Midsomer Norton Schools' Partnership. This has opened up a significant amount of opportunities for the pupils at our school.

Our Chair of Governors is Laura Tyrrell; she can be contacted via email: laura.tyrrell@msnpartnership.com or at the school address.

Our school SENDco is Catrin Geeson who can be contacted on the school phone number or by email at cgeeson@farringtongurneyschool.co.uk
