On Friday 9th November, we held our Remembrance Service outside on the school playground. The weather kept fine for the whole service and we were joined by parents and carers. Reverand Stephen Robinson, from Farrington Gurney Methodist Church joined us to say a few words and to say the grace. We also had some members of the school playing 'The Last Post' along with Miss Treasure and the local peripatetic music teacher, Amanda Garland.
Each class made a short presentation to mark the event and we held two minutes silence as a mark of respect and compassion for those that have died in war and for their families. Our school art work, that was created for the recent CAMS Valley Art Trail, was also on display throughout the service.
